Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Charles Rivkin Travels to Spain, Portugal, and France

Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Charles H. Rivkin will travel to Madrid, Spain on June 1 to June 3 where he will meet with senior government officials on the U.S.-Spain bilateral economic relationship. He will also participate in a conference hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the potential benefits of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) Agreement at Casa America and meet with members of the U.S.-Spain Foundation Council.
Assistant Secretary Rivkin will also travel to Lisbon, Portugal on June 4 where he will visit the “Fabrica de Startups” entrepreneurship incubator to discuss the positive impact of innovative initiatives on the Portuguese economy before traveling to France to join Secretary Kerry in Normandy to participate in commemorations marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
